On The Run Part 1

*Terra's P.O.V*

 Run. That was all I could think of. I couldn't stop now. Syrius would catch me if I did. I needed to stop. I sat down. I had to get up. I struggled to stand, legs aching, arms exhausted.

"Oh my, is that a baby?" Two slender arms picked me up. "I wonder where your parents are." Attached to those arms was an adult, possibly in her thirties.

I looked around, no sign of him. Phew! 

Suddenly, he strode into view. I leaped down before he saw me. The woman grabbed at me frantically as I went down, trying to stop me. Fat chance of that happening.

 I took off running again, making for the bend. I hid just where Syrius couldn't see me. I peeked around the corner.

"Excuse me, but have you seen my daughter?" "No,I have not." Syrius questioned the woman.

"I just saw you with her." "OK, I dropped her." Syrius lunged at her, a cloud of dust kicking up as they fought.

I ran. No stopping. I ran for about two hours before resting. I was in front of someone's house with a porch surrounded by flowers.

 An old man came out for his paper. He stopped dead when he saw me. "Henrietta! Get out here!"

An old lady in a leopard print gown stepped onto the porch.
She gasped at the sight of me.

"James! Pick her up and give her to me." "Henrietta" ordered.


"James" did as he was told.


Henrietta started walking inside. "You poor little soul!"


James walked in too. "We'll keep you safe, little one."







Well, I decided to split this up into two parts cos writing this was seriously bugging me.

Stupid Stupid Stupid!

*Ophelia's P.O.V*

"Huh?" I thought someone just called my name. I turned around.

I saw a toddler with green hair and blue-green eyes. Mum has green hair. Dad has those eyes. Terra!

"Terra?" I walked a bit closer to her. "OPHEWIA!" She called out again. It was Terra!

I was running to her when a guy picked her up. My mouth fell open. Syrius (I think)!

I noticed another toddler who had the same dress and hairstyle. She got picked up by another man who trailed after Terra's kidnapper.

I ran for Mum and Dad. "Mum, Dad, I saw Terra!" They didn't believe me. "You were dreaming it. You obviously fell asleep without realizing it."

"I mean it, I didn't fall asleep! Terra's alive!" I tried to get them to realize I was telling the truth by telling them she has Dad's eyes and Mum's hair. Instead Mum burst into tears and ran to the public toilets.

"Ophelia Janice Sienna! Go home! Go to your room and STAY there to think about what you did!" Dad yelled at me. He must have been really angry. He never uses my middle name unless he is flaming mad.

"FINE!" I yelled back. I stomped away from the park, mumbling, asking myself what I did wrong. "This is stupid"

When I got home, I ran and flopped onto my bed. "Terra, no matter what, I will find you."
 

*Terra's P.O.V*

"Who was that, Terra?" Anna-Lee asked me when we got back.

"My sister." "Oh, she looked a bit like you, except she had green eyes and blue-green hair."

I didn't know how to answer or even explain that. I waited until Syrius sat us in our highchairs, gave us some mush and put us to bed. Anna-Lee was already fast asleep when I wanted to talk to her. Good.

When we both woke up Syrius fed us some yucky carrot and pea mush and took us to the park again.Stupid idea.

Mum and Dad were there. I walked over. "Hi Mummy! Hi Daddy!" I waved at them. Mum burst into tears. "We're not your parents, little one." Dad kept his cool.  

"What's your name?" "Tewwa" They gasped. Mum was whispering to Dad. "No, our Terra is dead." "Is not!" I shocked them with my outburst.

Suddenly, Syrius swooped down and picked me up. "Uhhh, Hi Mark!" He was nervous, I could tell. "Syrius, who is this?"  "My daughter, Terra."

He's stupid enough to lose grip of a toddler even now.  I jumped down. I ran and ran and ran. Out the park, out into the street. That was my stupidest idea yet.

New Beginnings

I whimpered in my blanket, suddenly in a new house. I saw two cots, two high chairs and a potty. In one cot there was another baby while the other was empty.

Syrius sat me down in the empty cot while the other baby talked to me.

"Hi! I'm Anna-Lee!" Anna-Lee, Syrius' daughter! "I'm Terra.Where am I?" She didn't know either.

Syrius came and fed us, changed us and settled us down for the night. I was feeling homesick so I thought about mum, dad and Ophelia. Soon I drifted off to sleep.

The next day Syrius had bought two cakes, one for me and one for Anna-Lee.

"Yay, we're gonna be toddlers!" Anna-Lee was ecstatic for her birthday.

I aged up first. Syrius thought I looked cute with my green hair and blue-green eyes.

Anna-Lee looked as sweet as me with her red hair and dark blue eyes.


Syrius put us in matching Tweetiepie dresses and matching hairstyles.

We almost looked like sisters. Syrius wanted to raise us like sisters, I could tell.

One day he called his friend to help with us learning our skills. His friend taught Anna-Lee and Syrius taught me. I was getting used to living here so far.

When we could walk, talk and use the potty Syrius took us to the park. Anna-Lee and I sat around talking. Suddenly, I saw someone. "OPHEWIA!"

Hello Syrius, Goodbye Life

 *Terra's P.O.V.*

"Hello little one!" I looked up to see this strange woman holding me. I got scared and started wailing. "No don't cry, I'm your mummy!" I stopped.  What is this place? Where am I?? WHO am I???

I soon found out who I was when I awoke from my nap. "Aw! How adorable!"  A different lady was looming over me. "What's her name?"  "Terra." So that was my name. Terra...

At 6PM, a group of people came to celebrate ME. There were pictures of me everywhere! Apart from a few people, everyone else had left by 8PM.

"Hello, Syrius!" My dad gave the only man a friendly hug. "Good to see you! Heard you have a daughter as well!" 

Syrius replied, "Hello, Mark. Nice to see you too! Anna-Lee was born just after you called me!" 

Hmm, another baby? Interesting. Mum lifted me out of my cot and handed me to  Syrius.  "Hey, hands off the material!" is what I tried to say, but it came out as gurgling. I heard my toddler sister Ophelia giggling. "Tewwa fwunny bwaby!" About time someone understood!

Mum went to cook dinner and Dad went to teach Ophelia to walk in the nursery, leaving me alone with Syrius. He put me down in my cot.

Suddenly, Syrius scooped me  up and tried to walk out of our house! Ophelia had managed to escape and saw him. "TEWWA! Weave my sister awone!" She screamed.

He teleported out with me. "MAMA!" I screeched, in a last bid to save myself. Too late.
